Activity 1 : Mitten Sorting Colors
Cut Colorful Construction Paper into Mitten shape. In a container, add colorful Pompoms Invite kids and let them sort each pompom with the correct Mitten.
Activity 2 : mittens Collage
Start by cutting Construction Paper into Mitten’s shape. Cut some thread and set it aside. Stick your mittens shape into another constructions paper, then add your thread and the cotton. Let kids decorate the mittens with their favorite Winter Themed Stickers.
Activity 3: igloo Collage Art
Blue Construction paper Draw Igloo shape with black marker. Cut white paper into small pieces Cotton Balls Print out the Eskimo figures and give the kids some time to color them. Finally, With glue sticks, let the kids use their creativity to assemble their igloos. Full activity: here
Activity 4 : Snowman Fun Math
Start by making a snowman with white paper, add a face into it Cut construction paper into hat shape, then write numbers on each hat from 1 to 10 Fill a small plate with colorful buttons Invite kids to the activity, and start counting each buttons with the right hat!
Activity 5: Winter Tree
From your walk with kids, collect a tree stick from nature. On a blue construction paper, glue the stick to it. Set your art table with white paint and q-tips. Let kiddos get creative making their winter art project ! 🙂
Activity 6 : Melted Snowman
Blue Construction paper, paint, & felt paper cut into eyes, nose, scarf and smile. White paint, Brushes and Glue Kids start painting the paper with white paint. After the paint dries. They can start gluing the remaining things into the art.
Activity 7 : Ice Skating Sensory
Fill a big plate with water and blue food coloring and freeze for later Fill ice cube makers with water, then add mini figurines to it and freeze. The next day get the figurines out and invite little ones to start playing! Full activity: here
