How do you make scented playdough?
To make scented playdough, you simply add all the spices and scents to the flour before adding the wet ingredients. If you choose to use essential oils, make sure you dissolve the oil in the water first before you add it to the flour…

The list of Winter- Christmas Scents is long, but these are the ones I love:
Gingerbread , Hot Chocolate, Cinnamon, Ginger, Cloves, Anise, Cardamom and Coffee
ingredients For This No Cook Scented Christmas Playdough
1/2 cup Salt
1 cup Flour
1/2 cup Water
Paint
Christmas Spices ( Cinnamon, Ginger, Nutmeg, Cardamom, Cloves, Coffee & Cocoa)
Instructions To Make This No Cook Scented Christmas Playdough:
In a cup, mix the water with the paint and set it aside.
In a bowl, mix 1 cup of flour with the spices.
Add the salt, the water with paint and mix well.
Knead the dough with your hands and if it starts to get too sticky, add some flour.
Your No-Cook Christmas Scented Playdough is ready. Have fun! 🙂
Tips:
- To avoid having messy hands, mix the paint with the water first.
- To prevent Playdough from drying out, keep it in a sealed bag.
- Playdough can last up to 4 weeks in the refrigerator. Just make sure it’s inside a sealed bag.
- To bake your playdough; Bake it at 200°F until hard. Thin pieces take between 45 to 60 minutes. Thicker pieces take between 2 to3 hours.
